A Mindful Morning of Paper Floristry - Parrot Tulip
Our signature series, "Fleur Evelyn", focuses on the mindful, slow paced art of realistic paper floristry.
These beginner-friendly workshops focus on creating one specific flower, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the techniques needed to bring that particular bloom to life. You can enjoy each workshop as a standalone class, or join future workshops to build a full, spectacular everlasting bouquet.
This workshop focuses entirely on the spectacular Parrot Tulip. In this 3.5-hour intimate session, we will walk you step-by-step through precision cutting, basic shaping, and the option of a deep dive into the more advanced colouring techniques that make this bloom’s petals look truly alive. Spaces are strictly limited to ensure a relaxing, one-to-one experience with plenty of refreshments.

Join lifelong crafters Elaine & Ellie in the picture perfect village of East Stratton for a restorative, slow-paced morning of paper flower making.
Elaine holds a degree in Textile Design and has been crafting paper flora since 2019, while Ellie co-runs their popular monthly community craft club right here in the village. Combining their decades of creative passion, they have designed this workshop as a peaceful sanctuary from the rush of daily life, inviting you to slow down, work with your hands, and connect with fellow makers.
The core philosophy of this session is that there is no wrong way to create, as every piece is beautifully unique just like nature. Elaine’s teaching style is exceptionally calm and patient, focusing entirely on the therapeutic joy of making rather than the final outcome.
"Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned crafter, you will learn to shape realistic blooms at a gentle, unhurried pace in a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment."
