Meet Everest summiteer Jo Bradshaw for an inspiring film screening, incredible Nepal stories and a live audience Q&A at Abbey Mill.

Join us at Abbey Mill for an inspiring evening of adventure, resilience and extraordinary stories with Everest summiteer and expedition leader Jo Bradshaw.

In collaboration with Winchester Walkabout Group, we’ll be hosting a special screening of More Than A Mountain, a powerful film celebrating the life and legacy of Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Mount Everest.

Created to mark the 50th anniversary of the first female ascent of Everest, the film follows 15 women as they explore why Tabei’s achievement still matters today, celebrating her determination and the idea that strength has no age limit or boundary.

Following the screening, Jo Bradshaw will join us for a live Q&A, fresh from her return from Nepal and taking part in the Everest Marathon. Jo will share stories from the mountains, her own experiences on Everest and life as an expedition leader, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Whether you’re a keen walker or climber, love travel and adventure, or simply enjoy hearing remarkable stories from remarkable people, this promises to be a fascinating evening at Abbey Mill.
