Step into a world of stories, creativity and imagination at Highclere Castle’s Literary Festival! ✨ Join us for a wonderful weekend celebrating the joy of reading, with inspiring talks from bestselling authors including Santa Montefiore, Susie Dent and Joanna Cannon, plus Hugh Bonneville sharing stories from his career and Downton Abbey. Young readers can meet much-loved children’s authors Robert Tregoning, Anna James and Katie & Kevin Tsang through fun, interactive workshops designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Families can explore the Garden Story Trail, discover the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition, and go down the rabbit hole with This Is My Theatre’s Alice in Wonderland. There’s creative writing, live storytelling from Charles Dickens’ great-great-grandson Gerald Dickens, and plenty of opportunities to discover new stories and be inspired. With children aged 15 and under attending the Literary Festival free, it’s the perfect family day out for book lovers of all ages! 📚🏰✨
