About This Event

The Jane Austen Afternoon Tea takes place at the Winchester Royal Hotel on 10 September 2026. Visitors can enjoy tea, food, and a game of croquet in the walled garden subject to weather conditions. Prices range from £8.23 to £30.50 for participation.

Step back in time and indulge in the elegance of the Regency era with our Jane Austen inspired Afternoon Tea a delightful celebration of wit, romance, and refinement.

Join us for an afternoon of charm and conversation as we pay homage to one of England’s most beloved authors. Guests will enjoy a traditional English tea service, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and an assortment of exquisite pastries and cakes.

Between courses, enjoy a game of croquet (weather permitting) Regency-inspired attire is warmly encouraged (though not required) a bonnet or waistcoat adds just the right touch of authenticity!

Whether you’re a lifelong Austen devotee or simply love a good cup of tea, this elegant experience promises a few hours of grace, laughter, and literary delight.
