Winchester City Mill's historic waterwheel is turning again after an extensive replacement project. Initial sessions allow visitors to observe the new machinery in action and watch it go through testing and adjustment before the Mill returns to milling.

After an extensive replacement project, Winchester City Mill’s historic waterwheel is turning once again.

Come and see this impressive piece of engineering in action as we put the new wheel through its paces. The project isn’t finished just yet, these initial wheel-turning sessions are an exciting opportunity to test the new machinery, make adjustments and ensure everything is working as it should ahead of the Mill’s return to milling.

Come along, watch the wheel turn and see this important stage of the project for yourself.
