The park’s 65 acres are home to a 500 year old sweet chestnut tree, giant redwoods planted between 1860 and 1890, and almost 10,000 other trees. The woodland supports a wide variety of plants and wildflowers. Animals such as badgers, rabbits, deer, grass snakes and slow-worms, and a wide variety of birds inhabit the park.
