A community campaign to tackle loneliness.: we book a table in a local pub, leave a few empty chairs and make it easy for anyone to join us.
We run a regular, friendly table at The Walton Village (https://www.facebook.com/thewaltonvillage?__cft__%5B0%5D=AZjpK9nDr9WD9l2M0WYADLlepsxEWjJ4xSKZP-jyK42H4TNSJNhOAfrXhfMg7OfI5FWNCiLrUK5lNUIDg3Y1w72013RMMgfU9OcYWAWMyMfab0X1HYPK2KbFt6TcJGwcIuRSouWRtjMlQZnhgdd4kgDWeeu1V2NsQ2ZbzWZm-zOar-NVPrxSgLcEE1O94pk&__tn__=-%5DK-R) pub on the 1st Monday of each month from 7pm.
🪑 WHAT IS EMPTY CHAIRS?
It is a beautifully simple idea. We book a table, leave a few chairs empty, and make it easy for anyone to pull up a seat and join us for a casual chat. It isn’t a club, a rigid networking event, or a therapy session. It’s just an open invitation to connect with your community.
