Step into the mycelial world in the beautiful Gutteridge Wood this autumn and join our ranger for a fungi themed walk through the site.

We'll be kicking off the walk at 10:30am on the 22nd of November, and will look to finish up by around 12:30 (unless the ranger gets particularly distracted by a cool mushroom, it's happened before.)

Gutteridge Wood is quite an isolated site, and has no toilet or cafe facilities on site, but it more than makes up for it in biodiversity.

We'll be meeting at the garages next to 77 Lynhurst Crescent (w3w///score.energy.rainy (https://what3words.com/score.energy.rainy)), you'll see two wildlife trust vehicles in the car park so you'll know you found the right place!

There is street parking available in the area but we can't guarentee availability or how close you'll be able to get.

Please remember to bring some sturdy boots as the site can get pretty muddy, and dress for the weather (mushrooms love the rain!).

If you've got any mushroom books or other materials feel free to bring them, we'll all be spreading out and trying to identify as many mushrooms as possible.
