About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. The show follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they balance first love, friendships, self-discovery, classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

This production uses extended staging and on-stage seating to place audiences in the middle of the action. It features a book by David Simpatico, music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle, choreography by Aaron Renfree, and co-direction by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton.

Audiences can also hear songs from the original film, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Harry Judd (McFly) stars as Coach Bolton, alongside original High School Musical film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. Tobias Turley plays Troy, Leonor Correia plays Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping plays Sharpay and Luke Bayer plays Ryan.
