A day of armoured combat training, on foot and on horse, set for Saturday the 28th of November.

The cost is £100 per person - going up to £120 in November, or half price if you are only taking part in the armoured segments. To take part in the armoured combat training you would obviously need harness (a suit of fitted armour), which could be full, three-quarter or half harness.

The armoured segment will require an ecranche in the style of Gladiatoria (fist targe). You can purchase these ahead of time for £80 (see images attached below), or we can lend you a plastic buckler as a functional substitute.

You have the choice of a 30 minute private riding session if you are a complete novice to horsemanship, or a 60 minute group session (including tacking up) if you have some riding experience.

During whichever riding lesson you are not participating in, the time will be used (weather permitting) by other attendees to practice the Pas d'Armes according to the Hammaborg ruleset - (https://www.hammaborg.de/en/hammaborg-pas-d-armes-en/)

This event is initially limited to 16 participants, each allowed a squire (free ticket option).

Please note that for the safety of the horses and participants, every attendee needs to be a registered ticket holder.
