About This Event

I am putting together a casual session for anyone interested in picking up a sketchbook and slowing down for a few hours. Dudley Mindful Strokes and Social Sketches is all about setting aside the pressure to create a masterpiece and instead focusing on the process of drawing as a way to decompress. Whether you are an experienced artist or someone who has not picked up a pencil since school, this is a space to sit, draw at your own pace, and enjoy some quiet company. We will spend the time sketching in a relaxed environment, with plenty of room for conversation if you feel like chatting, or just focusing on your own page if you prefer to keep to yourself. It is a great way to build a consistent habit while connecting with others in the local area who share an interest in creativity and mindfulness. Please bring whatever pens, pencils, or notebooks you feel comfortable with, and come ready for a low-key morning.
