Forest Bathing will take place at Himley Hall on 21 November 2026. This guided experience focuses on mindfulness in nature, allowing participants to unwind and connect with the woodland environment.
Less rush, more rest. Unwind with guided forest bathing, sensory moments and a woodland tea ceremony at Himley Hall.
Join Wildwood Wellness for two hours of guided Forest Bathing at beautiful Himley Hall & Park - a morning to step away from everyday demands and spend time among the trees.
Led by Diane, an accredited Forest Bathing Practitioner, you’ll explore the woodland through gentle, sensory invitations that encourage you to slow down, become curious and notice what’s around you.
Forest Bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku, is a practice of spending time in nature with awareness. We move slowly, with plenty of pauses to listen, look, breathe and simply be. There’s no distance to achieve and no experience required.
What to expect
A warm welcome and a gentle introduction to the practice.
Guided invitations to explore the woodland through your senses.
A quiet sit spot, giving you time to settle and notice.
Opportunities to reflect and share, with no pressure to speak.
A closing tea ceremony - a moment to gather, enjoy a warm cup of tea and gently bring the session to an end.
Come alone or with someone you know. No experience is needed, and you’re welcome to take part in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Preparing for your morning
Please wear sturdy footwear and bring warm layers and waterproofs. We spend time being still, so you may feel cooler than you would on a usual walk. A waterproof sit mat or portable seat can help you stay comfortable.
The route includes uneven woodland ground and a slight, short incline. If you have questions about access or suitability, please contact Diane before booking.
Making a day of it
After the session, Himley has lots of beautiful spots to explore at your own pace, as well as a café if you’d like to stay a little longer.
A little space in your week to pause, breathe and see what you notice.
