Helicon was formed in East Kilbride, Glasgow - hometown of fellow band brothers and Fuzz Club label mates The Jesus & Mary Chain. Known for the intensity and energy of their live shows, their sound blends psychedelia, electronica, guitars and sitars with a spirit of counter-cultural experimentation.

Having signed to Fuzz Club in 2017, their music has featured on BBC Radio 6 Music and they've recently collaborated with Barry Burns (Mogwai), Chris Geddes (Belle & Sebastian), Will Carruthers (Spacemen 3 / The Brian Jonestown Massacre/ Spiritualized / Dead Skeletons), and Mark Gardener (Ride).

Their 4th studio album, ARISE - a collaboration with LA-based artist and DJ AL LOVER, was released on Fuzz Club in February 2026 and reached No.20 in the Official UK Album Downloads Chart.

A companion remix album will be released in Feb 2027, coinciding with the timing of this show, featuring remixes from members of Mogwai, The Black Angels, Belle & Sebastian, Ride and other international artists and collaborators.

Helicon have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, including sold-out shows in Glasgow, London, Manchester, Paris and Berlin, alongside multiple performances at Fuzz Club Eindhoven, Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia, Manchester Psych Fest, Edinburgh Psych Fest, Bruges Stellar Swamp Festival, Kelburn Garden Party and Kendal Calling.

Support for this show comes from Kavus Torabi - a "psychedelic polymath" and multi-instrumentalist known for his work in the psychedelic, avant-garde rock field. Rising to prominence as a member of Cardiacs, Torabi has fronted the progressive rock band Gong since 2014 and led the band Knifeworld from 2009 to 2018. He has since been active as a solo artist and one-third of the electronic band the Utopia Strong.
