The home of independent brands has arrived in Solihull — and this is the day we throw the doors open properly.

After ten days of festival activity across Mell Square, Indespoke officially launches on Thursday 3 September. Whether you come for an hour or stay all day, there’s something happening from morning to evening — and everyone is welcome. It’s completely free.

🎉 THROUGH THE DAY — 11:00–17:00

Join us in Mell Square and inside the store for:

• The official opening moment — 11:15 — be there as Indespoke is officially declared open, with invited guests and a few surprises

• Activations from our resident partners — meet the people behind Recovery Room, Move to Wellness, Lumora Skin & Wellness, Cookiebox Co, Eat Real Food, Be Mynd Functional Smoothies and Peaches Fruity Drinks — think demos, tastings, treats and wellness experiences through the day

• The Indespoke Skills Exchange — our brand-new workshop series launches with a video content creation workshop

• Explore the store — dozens of independent brands under one roof, with the people behind them there to talk to

• Family-friendly activities, giveaways and photo moments throughout

Where and when? Individual activity times and locations are being finalised — some will run in Mell Square, some inside the store. Stay tuned on our social media @indespoke, check in at the shop, or just ask a member of the team in store. Drop in any time — no ticket needed for the daytime programme (register free so we know you’re coming).

🎤 THE EVENING — 18:00–20:30 — THE IMPORTANCE OF SMALL BUSINESS

As the day winds down, we turn the store into a space for conversation.

Join us for a panel discussion on why small business matters — to our high streets, our communities and our economy. Hear directly from Indespoke partners as they share their stories: how they started, what they’ve learned, what it really takes to build an independent brand, and what having a physical home in Mell Square means for them.

Expect honest conversation, practical insight and plenty of inspiration — followed by time to network with the panellists, the Indespoke team and fellow founders, dreamers and supporters of independent business.

Perfect for: small business owners, aspiring founders, local business networks, students, and anyone who cares about the future of the high street.

Indespoke is the home of independent brands — independent makers, creators and product brands brought together under one roof, including our resident partners Recovery Room, Move to Wellness, Lumora Skin & Wellness, Cookiebox Co, Eat Real Food, Be Mynd Functional Smoothies and Peaches Fruity Drinks. The Mell Square store is our new flagship home in Solihull, opening after a ten-day launch festival of workshops, demos, tastings and community activities (24 August – 2 September).
