Step into a world of British folklore at Moseley Old Hall with Stranger Folk, Volume 1: Crone Calling. As the spirit and human worlds collide, sneaky goblins, cunning boggarts and Stranger Folk are slipping through a magical rift to stir up trouble.

Download the free Stranger Folk app before your visit and follow the mysterious Old Crone through a series of silly and magical tasks. Families can work together using just one mobile phone to harness the elements, find the Stranger Folk and heal the rift between the human and spirit worlds.

Once you have checked in at our Visitor Reception, solve a riddle to discover the Magic Word and begin your adventure. Free Wi-Fi is available in various areas around the site, but we recommend downloading the free app before you visit.

Designed for families with children aged 7–12, the adventure can be played in around 20 minutes or spread throughout the day, giving you plenty of time to pause and pick up where you left off.
