For our opening round, we’re handing the decks and the mics over to the ladies for a female-led DJ & MC showcase, putting the spotlight on talented women and celebrating what they bring to the music.

SHE RUNS BASS is about creating space for women to be seen, heard and celebrated for their talent — while creating a night that everyone can enjoy together.

Different selectors. Different sounds. Different styles.

One mission — bring the vibes and run the bass. 👑🔊🔥

🔊 TWO ROOMS. TWO SOUNDS.

🔴 ROOM 1 — JUNGLE & DRUM & BASS

Expect Jungle flavours, heavyweight basslines, breaks, old-school influences and Drum & Bass energy throughout the night.

🟢ROOM 2 — HOUSE & GARAGE

House & Garage takes over Room 2 with grooves, basslines, classics and plenty of energy for the dancefloor.

We’re putting together a lineup that celebrates both established and emerging talent, with plenty more to be revealed.

WHO RUNS BASS? will unfold across a series of events, bringing different selectors, MCs, sounds and styles together before the story eventually reaches the ultimate showdown.

But this isn’t about proving that one gender is better than another.

It’s about music, talent, creativity, community and a little friendly competition.

And when the clash comes…
