Chase down those MB scores!

The event

Is a UKRS ‘WA70’ series shoot, stripped back to the bare essentials. It is specifically there to allow our archers opportunities to shoot qualifying "MB Tier" classification scores. Space is limited, but spare slots will be offered to the wider archer community.

The events are held on a Friday evening, with Assembly nominally at 18:00. If, however, all participants are available then the shoot may start early, as it will be tight for daylight towards the end.

As a UKRS shoot the AGB ‘Rules of Shooting’ will be enforced, including dress code, scoring systems & drug testing. The Judge will be Sue Richards.

The rounds available will always include WA70/122 & WA50/80 (which will cater for Senior Recurve, Longbow & Compound. There will also usually be WA60/122 & WA50/122 (e.g. 50+ & Barebow). The other 6-dozen Metric rounds may be available at the discretion of the TO and can be requested via the 'Additional places / rounds' ticket.

Please make sure you understand the ArcheryGB classification tables, and that you select the round appropriate for your needs.

For speed (chasing the daylight) shooting will be single detail, practice will be limited to one end and there will be no break.

Because the event is stripped back & is primarily a Club Target Day there will be no catering or refreshments, no tents, no raffle and the field party will be limited – archers are expected to pitch in and help.

The results & post-shoot session will be in the bar in the Manor Park Club House.

The Venue

The venue is the outdoor shooting field for Malvern Archers. It is fully equipped as an archery range. Manor Park has full clubhouse facilities including toilets, a bar & lounge areas. There is on-site parking & all required areas are wheelchair accessible.

Costs

The cost is £14 per person for all attendees.

Data protection

When you enter competitions the following information may be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors - for example target lists and results may be published. First Name, Surname, Gender, Bow style, Date of Birth / Age category, Email, Address, Phone number, Club (and ID), County (and ID), Region (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info.
