Get into the festive spirit with a cosy and creative evening of clay. Christmas Clay Workshop at SPARK, York Get into the festive spirit with a cosy and creative evening of clay at SPARK, York. During this relaxed workshop, you’ll create your very own ceramic Christmas tree luminary (tea light holder), decorating it and adding your own personal touches on the night. No previous clay experience is needed and everyone is welcome. All materials are provided, with guidance given throughout the evening. Once finished, your piece will be professionally glazed and fired and returned to SPARK for you to collect, ready to enjoy at home over Christmas. These workshops are all about having fun with clay and enjoying the experience. You’ll be shown how to create your piece and there’ll be plenty of guidance along the way, but this isn’t a formal pottery lesson or one-to-one tuition and there are no pottery wheels involved! It’s a lovely festive activity to enjoy with friends or family, or simply come along on your own for a relaxed and creative evening. SPARK has lots of fabulous independent eateries, so why not arrive a little earlier and grab yourself a cosy drink and something to eat. You’re very welcome to bring any food and drinks purchased at SPARK into the workshop with you.
