We’re delighted to invite you to our city launch event for the 'Understanding York' Place Review report, and church social action mapping report, both developed from research carried out by the No One Left Behind project, and following on from our 'Hope and a Future' event in November 2025.

Drawing on practitioner insights and fresh research, and focusing on how poverty links with place, Understanding York highlights how York’s strengths can help the city face the challenges of addressing poverty now and in the future.

Alongside this, the mapping report provides evidence of how churches and Christian charities are currently responding to needs in their local communities.

Join us to hear key findings and discuss how these could be used to inform future actions for churches and the city.

Coffee, tea and pastries will be provided. The De Grey Rooms is an accessible venue with a level access side entrance and lift to the first floor where the event will be held.
