The event takes place at Bank Tube Station on Sunday, 20 September 2026, outside Exit 3. Various performers including Bank of England Musicians, Pearly Kings and Queens, and St Barts are scheduled to perform. The ticket price is available via the official website. Once a year in September, 800 private buildings in London open their doors for the weekend and let the public in to look around and admire their architecture. We are going to take full advantage of this visiting buildings on the Saturday and the Sunday.
On the Sunday we are visiting 3 buildings.
**Bank of England Museum (built in 1925)**
The museum is part of the Bank of England rebuilding in the 1930's by Sir Herbert Baker. One room is a reconstruction of 1793 Bank of England Stock Office by Sir John Soane. The museum is home to a collection of diverse items relating to the history of the Bank and the UK economy from the Bank's foundation in 1694 to the present day. The museum is normally closed at weekends.
Finish at 1:00pm and walk to the next building.
Arrive at the Guildhall Yard - 1:15pm.
**Pearly Kings & Queens Harvest Festival in Guildhall Yard**
Join the Pearly Kings and Queens of London as they celebrate their traditional Harvest Festival. The event takes place in Guildhall Yard every year and there will be traditional entertainment with many Pearly Kings and Queens dressed up in their finery, there will be morris dancers, maypole dancers, marching bands, horses, donkeys and carts.
Finish at 3:00pm and walk to the next building.
Arrive at St. Barts Hospital North Wing - 3:15pm.
**St. Bartholomew's Hospital North Wing (built in 1732)**
The Grade I listed North Wing at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the houses two of England’s most important interiors, the Great Hall, and the Hogarth Stair with its large paintings by William Hogarth. The hospital was designed by architect James Gibbs.
Finish at 4:00pm and head to the pub.

All the buildings are within walking distance of each other.
