About This Event

A community energy workshop, Places of Worship Energy Resource (POWER), will be hosted by Sheffield Community Energy at a venue to be confirmed in York on 26 September 2026. The event brings together faith groups to discuss community energy. The ticket price is available on the event website.

Join Sheffield Community Energy who are hosting the launch event of Places of Worship Energy Resource (Sheffield POWER), bringing together faith groups to discuss how they can better use their buildings to preserve and generate energy. “By bringing together people from across Sheffield’s diverse faith communities, we aim to: Lower Costs: Discover how new energy schemes can significantly reduce utility bills. Increase Comfort: Learn practical ways to make our historic and modern buildings warmer and more welcoming. Connect & Fund: Meet local community energy experts and explore the funding opportunities available to kickstart your project. Protect the natural world: Learn how we can better use our building resources to protect the environment and support our neighbours”
