An exclusive networking event for those involved professionally within property, construction, development, and other associated industries.

York’s First Thursday Event, coordinated by Donald Insall Associates, JPG Group, and kmbre is the city’s only free networking event focused exclusively on those involved professionally within property, construction and development.

As the name suggests, we meet monthly, on the first Thursday, making the most of York’s renowned public houses in the company of like-minded professionals. The aim is to catch up with and meet like-minded people in an informal, friendly and relaxed setting.

Our December event will be a Festive Special, kindly sponsored by York Archaeology and hosted at the Jorvik Viking Centre in York.

This event draws on York’s ancient heritage and will immerse guests into the year AD975 and the city’s Viking Age. Guests will have opportunity to ride around the reconstructed city of Jorvik, in addition to making the most of the complementary refreshments in the Centre’s exhibition gallery.

Who’d have thought they would be able to network with a Viking???

Prior to the event, we’ll be meeting at the Three Tuns on Coppergate, to allow Day Visitors to vacate the Jorvik Viking Centre prior to our start time of 18.30.
