Join local business owners for a relaxed morning of networking in the beautiful surroundings of Snowball Plantation.

Woodland Connections

Join us for a relaxed morning of networking, conversation, and fresh thinking in the beautiful surroundings of Snowball Plantation.

This isn't a formal referral group, a sales pitch, or a room full of people trying to impress each other.

It's an opportunity for business owners to step away from the day-to-day, connect with like-minded people, share ideas, celebrate wins, talk honestly about challenges, and build meaningful relationships.

Whether you're looking for new connections, fresh perspectives, potential collaborations, or simply a chance to spend time with other business owners who understand the realities of running a business, we'd love to welcome you.

What to expect:

Tea, coffee and pastries included

Indoor and outdoor networking spaces

Relaxed, informal conversations

Short structured introductions from attendees

A supportive community of local business owners

There is no expectation to stay for the whole morning. Feel free to arrive early, pop in after the school run, stay for the introductions, or join us for the full session.

Structured introductions will take place during the morning, giving everyone the opportunity to share:

• What they do

• A recent win

• Their current business challenge

Because whilst social media often shows the highlight reel, we believe some of the most valuable conversations happen when business owners are honest about what's really going on.

Optional Stay & Work Session

You're welcome to stay and work from Snowball after the networking session. Use the lodge, find a quiet spot outside, take a walk around the site, or simply enjoy a change of scenery whilst catching up on work.

Who is this for?

Business owners, directors, entrepreneurs, freelancers, consultants, and anyone responsible for growing and leading a business.

Venue

Snowball Plantation is a unique venue just outside York, offering a refreshing alternative to hotel meeting rooms and coffee shop networking. With beautiful natural surroundings, indoor and outdoor spaces, and room to think, walk and connect, it's the perfect setting for meaningful conversations.

We look forward to welcoming you.
