Join Good Food Yorkshire Alliance and York Climate Committee for York Long Table, part of York Environment Festival.

Inspired by Denmark’s social dining culture, this is a chance to share a delicious meal, meet new people and explore the future of food and our city around long tables.

Discover where your meal has come from, meet local growers and hear more about how you could enjoy more local, good food.

Food will be prepared by Yahala Mataam CIC, a York-based social enterprise supporting refugees and asylum seekers through food and hospitality.

Expect good food and conversations with growers, chefs, community organisers and city leaders — with plenty of opportunity to share your own ideas and experiences too.

Come on your own or bring your family and friends. Everyone is welcome.
