Aberdeen has always had a music community, what we've been striving for is a platform that gives it a voice..

Amplify Aberdeen (AMW), now in its second year gives it one. At the heart of this 35-40 minute documentary are Nicole D, Captain Toms, Chachy, and The Bisongrass, whose stories explore what it truly means to be a creative in the North East, its influences, its challenges, its breakthroughs, and the search for belonging.

Featuring additional perspectives from the CEOs of Belmont Cinema and Jazz Scotland, the film places these personal journeys within a wider conversation about culture, place, and the future of Aberdeen's music and creative scene.

This isn't a highlight reel.

It's a living document of lived experiences, honest conversations, and a city finding its voice.
