Dates and times

Monday 10th August – 2pm – 4pm

Wednesday 12th August – 10am – 12pm

Saturday 22nd August – 12 – 2pm.

There are 15 spaces available per session, we are keeping groups small to ensure the dogs are not overwhelmed and keep everyone safe.

Location

Aberdeen Beachfront, please meet in front of the Innoflate entrance, we will be there until approximately 10 minutes past the starting time, after this we will walk down to the beachfront to run the session. If you are late, please join us on the beach.

The session times might change dependant on updated tide timings and weather ahead of the day.

Join Yogi & Cindy Bears for a session at Aberdeen beachfront for a family session. The session will cover:

- Water safety, potential hazards, and what to do at the beach if something goes wrong. activities will include some water rescue activities, looking at safety equipment and how water safety dogs work.

- Mental health awareness chat, covering some strategies to support your own mental health and if you are looking for support where to find it.

- Info about Yogi & Cindy Bears and what they do.

The session will include activities at the waters edge, or in the water if you wish, so be prepared to get wet. You can still participate if you wish to stay dry.

Please bring

- Water and snacks to drink/eat during the session if you want to bring these.

- Appropriate clothing for the day, e.g. beach clothing, including hats and sunscreen.

- A towel if you plan to get in the water.

The session is aimed at children and their families but is open to anyone wanting to attend.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please do not bring other dogs/animals to the session as the Yogi & Cindy Bears dogs will be at the session.

Photos may be taken during the session, a consent form will be given at the start of the session, participants are able to opt out if they wish.
