Join us at the Kincorth Local Nature Reserve to cut pathside gorse and help keep the reserve accessible for site users. Pathside gorse cutting at Kincorth Hill LNR Join the Countryside Ranger Service and volunteers from SEPA for a joint conservation event at Kincorth Local Nature Reserve. This important habitat is home to a diverse array of wildlife and your help is needed to ensure that the reserve remains accessible for the general public. Our activities will focus on: Gorse Removal: using saws and loppers, we will cut back invasive gorse, which is enroaching upon the path and making access difficult for site users. Clearing vegetation from the edges of the pond to ensure pond plants aren't shaded out. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about what it takes to be a ranger, meet like-minded people, and make a tangible impact on your local greenspace. Additional Information: All tools and equiptment will be provided, along with guidance from the team. No prior experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to make a difference!
