About This Event

Join us for our monthly bird survey to identify birds seen around Greyhope Bay. Beginner friendly - no experience needed. Learn about local species of birds living in and visiting our favourite corner of Aberdeen in this beginner-friendly session. Join us for our monthly bird survey at Greyhope Bay. This is a relaxed session open to people of all skill levels; we want to help you learn more about local birds & connect with others. Did you know over 200 different species of birds have been recorded around Greyhope Bay & Torry Battery? We're running monthly surveys to better understand how bird species use the site throughout the year so we can identify any action we can take to benefit birds. A few key points: Please dress appropriately for the weather. We will be walking on uneven ground, so please wear sturdy footwear. Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. If not, you're welcome to borrow some of ours. The Greyhope Bay Cafe will be open, so you can pop in to grab yourself a warm drink after the session is over.
