We're venturing beyond London for our book club day trip - to the Jane Austen Festival in Bath.

Whether you think Mr Darcy is a charmer, view Emma Woodhouse as an early feminist icon, or simply fancy escaping London for a day, the annual Jane Austen Festival brings together Regency elegance, literay talks, and thousands of Austen enthusiasts from around the world in one of England's most beautiful cities.

Dress in Regency costume if you'd like, or simply come as yourself.

To make the day even more special, every participant will receive a personalised Jane Austen-themed gift from us - not some cheap magnet or cheesy souvenir, but something genuinely worth adding to your collection.

Although we have an itinerary (see Agenda), this is a relaxed day out. We'll stick together for the main festival events, but if you want, there will be free time to explore Bath.
