From serial killers to shoplifters, this talk explores the experiences of some of the Ulster women who got into trouble with the law in the United States in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Drawing on research from the Bad Bridget project, this talk examines the complex lives and experiences of those for whom the American dream was anything but.
