About This Event

The Banana Block Film Festival 2026 will commence on 1 October 2026 at Banana Block in Belfast. This inaugural film festival is free to attend, inviting the public to experience a range of films. No ticket purchase is required.

Banana Block is excited to extend a free invitation to our first ever film festival!

Join us for an evening where local filmmaking talent exhibits their films on the big screen. At intermission, enjoy a live score performance from Paul McCordie, a film-inspired disco for networking and dancing, amongst other treats!

We will be hosting industry judges who will determine a winner, this winner be will receiving prizes donated by our amazing sponsors; The Spinners Mill, Ri-Ra, Sound Advice and Base Aracde.
