About This Event

Picking the baton up from Belfast's State of Open Con 26 On the Road event, we are scheduling a BLUG on the evening of the 6th, to keep the fun going. You are encouraged to sign up to [https://stateofopencon.com/belfast-soocon26/](https://stateofopencon.com/belfast-soocon26/), volunteer or share the excitement as we gear up. It's an exciting line-up with a mix of familiar local faces, and visiting luminaries! The SoOCon event during the day has paid tickets (although reach out to the team if you are studying or otherwise needing flexibility) but this ***evening event*** is free to attend, any extra food & drink you buy aside, and ***you do not have to attend the day event*** to come along to BLUG. However, ***you do need to RSVP for numbers***. *Please do not RSVP Yes unless you are confident you can attend, and please change your RSVP if your situation changes.* \*\*\ **We will be logging no-shows through Meetup for anyone RSVPing Yes who neither attends nor changes their RSVP.*\* Please note that the venue has changed, so please (a) sign-up to help ensure we have the right venue numbers and (b) check back to confirm location in central Belfast before turning up. Set meals and welcome drinks are sponsored by Flax & Teal Limited (flaxandteal.co.uk), a UK&I headquartered open-source-first company that specialises in precision intelligence: scientific simulation and AI-ready knowledge management across enterprise and government.
