Darian is a retired Physiotherapist & Acupuncturist and has worked in the field of Relaxation Stress Management in both Belfast & Hertfordshire. She has lived in 8 different countries including Borneo & Japan and has travelled with medical teams into the interior of the Borneo jungle. Since returning to N.Ireland in 1995 she has travelled extensively as a volunteer with the conservation charity Earthwatch.

Photography is one of Darian’s passions & she has had 2 solo photography exhibitions, in Norway and Belfast.

She is a keen skier and tennis player & was physio for the British Bobsleigh team for a world cup event in 1993. She also took up wild swimming in Helens Bay during Covid.

Darian’s book, “Photos & Meditations to Soothe & Inspire” describes several ways to reduce stress and combines 26 vibrant & colourful nature photos with 26 recordings of her own soothing and uplifting meditations.

The book is beautifully presented, hard back, A5, modestly priced, and makes an ideal gift for friends and family. Reader reviews have been excellent.
