About This Event

Meeting a prospective funder one-to-one is the quickest way to cultivate a relationship Arts & Business NI is committed to strengthening Northern Ireland’s cultural sector through support in fundraising, strategic development, partnerships and governance, helping organisations build resilience, explore new income streams and grow sustainably. To date, Arts & Business NI has facilitated more than 750 one-to-one funding surgeries, helping generate significant support and investment for Northern Ireland’s cultural and wider charitable sector. As part of this work, we facilitate one-to-one funding surgeries between organisations and representatives from a range of funders. These focused 15-minute meetings provide an opportunity to connect directly with funders, discuss your projects and priorities, and explore shared aims and potential future partnerships. This format offers a more personal and meaningful approach to funder engagement, creating space for both funders and organisations to share their vision, ambitions and impact. BOOKING INFO Before booking, please read the available funder information and visit their websites to familiarise yourself with their key aims and objectives, as well as your organisation’s eligibility. A PDF outlining the funders attending and their funding priorities can be found within this link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_-qQtAYy1zAHcPhdEEtOw_W6hgkj4Q2U/view?usp=drive_link) When booking, you will be asked to select four funders in your order of preference for the one-to-one sessions. We aim to allocate three one-to-one sessions per organisation; however, please be aware that this event is likely to book quickly and surgeries will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. BEFORE AND DURING THE EVENT We will be in touch with your allocated funder slots and timings ahead of the event. We recommend staying from 9:30am–1:00pm to make the most of the day, including conversations with other attendees, access to fundraising support and your allocated funder sessions. Representatives from resource organisations will also be available to support you and your organisation throughout your fundraising journey, from pre-application through to post-application and evaluation. Tickets include refreshments throughout the event, giving you the opportunity to relax, network and make the most of the opportunities available on the day.
