This year we As part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2026, Victim Support NI's Hate Crime Advocacy Service invites you to join us for an afternoon of discussion, drama, insight and laughter as we explore the role of restorative justice in responding to harm.

Restorative justice is often discussed in theory, but what does it actually look like in practice? Can it help victims feel heard? Can it encourage accountability? And what role, if any, should it play in addressing hate crime?

Taking place at Belfast's Accidental Theatre, this unique event will bring together practitioners, advocates and community stakeholders to examine restorative justice from multiple perspectives.

Through dramatic performances, facilitated discussions, audience engagement and a healthy dose of humour, we will explore complex issues in a way that is accessible thought-provoking and memorable.

Whether you are a criminal justice professional, community practitioner, policymaker, academic, advocate or simply interested in the topic, this event offers an opportunity to learn, reflect and participate in the conversation.
