👩‍⚕️ Learner Entry Requirements

To enrol, learners should:

✔ Hold (or be working towards) a Level 3 care-related qualification or above

✔ Be working in a senior role within a care setting

✔ Have at least 2 years’ experience in moving & handling

✔ Be physically सक्षम to participate in practical activities

✔ Previous Moving & Handling training is beneficial but not essential

We recommend working towards a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, although this is not mandatory.

This course is accredited by the CPD Assessed Organisation and aligned with the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF).

📝 Assessment Methods

This course is internally assessed and includes:

Pre-course preparation (sent 7–14 days prior)

Practical demonstrations and risk assessment activities

Peer observations

A 10-minute theory and practical micro-teach assessment
