Join us for the **opening day and lauch party of the Birmingham Film Festival 2026**. We’ll meet up for the **very first opening Block A screening** on Friday 6 November, watch the films together, then stay on afterwards for the **free launch party, drinks and social**. This is a relaxed meetup for anyone interested in film, cinema, creativity or simply meeting new people in Birmingham. Come along on your own or with friends. The idea is to enjoy the screening together, meet other film fans and then continue the evening at the launch after party. You are welcome to stay on at the party for as long as you wish. It starts from 8 pm. **Friday 6 November 2026** **Drinks Reception: 6 pm - 7 pm** **Films showing: 7 pm - 8 pm** **After party: 8 pm - 11.30 pm** Please book your **free Block A ticket on Eventbrite** here: [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/birmingham-film-festival-block-a-tickets-2000152826948](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/birmingham-film-festival-block-a-tickets-2000152826948) Please also book your **free lauch party ticket on Eventbrite** here: [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bff-launch-night-after-party-tickets-2002699498110](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bff-launch-night-after-party-tickets-2002699498110) Once booked, join the Meetup so we know who is coming and we can arrange where to meet before the screening.
