The Birmingham Litter Cleanup will take place on 17th October 2026, inviting community members to join efforts in cleaning up part of the watershed. Organised by BWRk in partnership with Birmingham District 1, the initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and community engagement. Join us for a day of service on Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
Safety: This event may take place along the roadside in an area that may not have sidewalks, so please only sign up if you feel comfortable with this. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult.
What we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:
1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)
2. Closed-toed shoes
3. Water
4. Sun protection
What we will provide:
1. Garbage bags
2. Gloves & Litter Pickers
3. Safety Vests
