BSFG discussion with award-winning SFF author Jaine Fenn

We are excited to welcome as our November guest Jaine Fenn, science fiction and fantasy author and winner of the British Science Fiction Association's Shorter Fiction Award. Jaine studied linguistics and astronomy before going on to work in IT, an experience which left her with a distrust of technology unusual in an SF writer.

Her first novel, Principles of Angels, was picked in the UK up by Gollancz, leading to the five book Hidden Empire series of far future SF, with each book telling a discrete story which contributes to the overall plot.

Her Shadowlands science fantasy duology, starting with Hidden Sun, is published by Angry Robot. She also teaches creative writing and writes for video games.

You can find out more about Jaine and her work at her website jainefenn.com (https://www.jainefenn.com/).
