Coffee & Decks is an artist-led Sunday gathering bringing together music, coffee, cocktails, conversation and creativity for a slower way to spend your Sunday.
Taking over Ithaka Coffee in Birmingham’s Custard Factory, our first gathering invites you to settle in for an afternoon soundtracked by two carefully selected DJs, moving through soulful sounds, deep grooves, African rhythms and uplifting beats.

Vanessa Malado is a DJ blending Afro House, Soulful House and Latin House into vibrant, uplifting sets that move the dancefloor.
Influenced by her African roots, Vanessa’s music selection is inspired by African rhythms, percussion and melodies, which she seamlessly blends with soulful and Latin sounds to create a unique, energetic and authentic musical journey.

Dee’Cleo
Dee'Cleo, a Birmingham-based DJ whose musical exploration transcends the boundaries of eras, cultures and genres. Inspired by the magic that lies in between deeply nourishing rhythms to unwind and galvanising beats to uplift a crowd, in her sets she guides you through the limitless possibilities of sound.
With a zest for blending eclectic sounds and an ability to curate unforgettable sonic experiences, Dee'Cleo has become a sought-after talent in Birmingham's music scene. As a member and resident DJ of three party collectives (Energy Flow, Variations, Pra Vida) and the Selextorhood Events Coordinator, Dee'Cleo has worked tirelessly to curate events that showcase the best in underground music and DJs.
