Come hang out with locals to chat, share ideas, and make Digbeth an even better place together!

Dear Digbeth Friends and Neighbours,

In line with Companion Culture: Four Actions for Digbeth ACTION #1.1 LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER, we are very excited to invite you to the first Digbeth Community Town Hall event from 6–8pm on Weds 30th September at The Old Library, Gibb Street, B9 4AT.

We hope the Digbeth Community Town Hall meetings will become quarterly relaxed events that help to keep us connected, find allies and share knowledge so we can build a diverse, cross-sector community who can collectively advocate for culture and push for change.

Anyone with a stake in Digbeth is invited, so come along, meet, talk, bring issues forward, share ideas, knowledge and plans, and most importantly bring something tasty to share as part of a delicious Digbeth potluck feast.

This is a free event but booking is essential.

The Old Library is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Please let us know about any additional access needs by emailing companionculture@digbethfirstfriday.com.

Arrive for a potluck feast!

Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. We’ll have time for people to arrive, grab a drink, some food and chat.

6.30pm

Hear 5 minute updates from:

Digbeth Cultural Consortium on Four Actions for Digbeth, Friends of Bradford Street, Digbeth BID, Bham Friends of the Earth and Digbeth Night time Economy Ambassador Lyle Bignon.

7pm

Open mic 5 minute long slots for anyone to share their Digbeth related news, questions or provocation.
