The morning session focuses on recognising rheumatological conditions on plain film radiographs, developing pattern-recognition techniques, and understanding the rheumatology patient pathway from referral to long-term management.
In the afternoon, explore key adult hip and shoulder pathologies, alongside practical paediatric pelvis imaging and measurement techniques. Through real-world cases and clinically relevant examples, you'll gain confidence in identifying important findings, avoiding common pitfalls, and understanding how imaging influences patient care and treatment decisions.
Ideal for Reporting Radiographers, Diagnostic Radiographers, Radiology Trainees, ACPs, Physiotherapists, and MSK-focused clinicians.
Key benefits:
Improve MSK plain film interpretation and pattern recognition
Recognise common rheumatological, hip, shoulder and paediatric pelvic conditions
Understand clinical pathways and management implications
Gain practical skills you can apply immediately in practice
There will be a lunch break with complimentary lunch and refreshments.

Recognise key radiographic features of common hip and shoulder pathologies, including FAI, dysplasia, AVN, impingement, arthritis, instability, fractures and post-traumatic changes.
Systematically assess paediatric pelvic and hip radiographs, recognising DDH, SUFE, Perthes disease, developmental abnormalities and the effects of positioning and image quality.
Accurately perform and interpret key measurements in paediatric hip imaging, including the acetabular index, migration percentage, centre-edge angle and epiphyseal alignment.
Identify clinically important and red-flag imaging findings that influence urgency, further investigation, referral pathways and treatment planning.
Produce clinically valuable radiology reports by integrating imaging findings, measurements and relevant clinical context while avoiding common interpretation and reporting pitfalls.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your place but you will have the option for this to be fully refunded upon attendance, or donated to www.worldwideradiology.org
