Nic Careem is the founder and driving force behind the National Life Savers Network. His work has focused on community development, social enterprise, anti-hate campaigning and creating practical opportunities for people who are often excluded from mainstream pathways. The National Life Savers Network (NLSN) is a pioneering community initiative designed to combine life-saving skills with opportunity. The Birmingham pilot will provide accredited CPR, first aid and life-saving training to people who are too often overlooked, while creating pathways into further training, employment, enterprise and greater independence.
