The University Doctoral School (https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/university-doctoral-school/pgr/uds-homepage.aspx) is hosting a PGR-Led Activities Fund (https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/university-doctoral-school/pgr/pgr-experience/events/pg-led-activities-fund.aspx) drop-in event for postgraduate researchers who are interested in organising activities, events, or initiatives for the PGR community. Come along to learn more about the funding available, explore how it could support your ideas, and get guidance on making an application.

Whether you have a fully developed proposal or are just starting to explore an idea, members of the team will be available to answer your questions and provide guidance on the PGR-Led Activities Fund application process.

You can drop in at any time between 13:00 – 17:00 to learn more about the fund, discuss your plans, and gain practical advice on developing a strong application.

The session aims to help PGRs feel confident about applying and support the development of high-quality, researcher-led activities that enhance the postgraduate research experience.

If you have an idea that could benefit the postgraduate research community or would simply like to learn more about the opportunities available, we encourage you to come along.

PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.

Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
