Join Wex Photo Video Birmingham & CANON for a full-day bird of prey photography experience at The Falconry Centre in Hagley.

Photograph a wide range of eagles, owls, hawks and falcons in both controlled and natural-style settings. The day will include static portrait opportunities in a private undercover area, alongside birds-in-flight photography across a seven-acre flying field.

Wex & CANON specialists will be available throughout the day to offer advice and give attendees the opportunity to try a selection of CANON cameras and specialist lenses, subject to availability.

Around 12 to 14 birds may be available, depending on weather, bird welfare and availability. Species may include Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Barn Owls, Great Grey Owls, Harris Hawks, Peregrine Falcons and Kestrels.

Schedule

9:30am – Arrival, tea and coffee.

10:00am – Welcome and safety briefing.

10:15am – Morning photography session.

11:30am – Refreshment break.

11:45am – Photography resumes.

1:00pm – Lunch and flying display.

2:00pm – Afternoon photography session.

3:30pm – Debrief and equipment discussion.

4:30pm – Event ends.

Lunch is included, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available when requested in advance.

Please bring your camera, charged batteries, memory cards, suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Valid photographic identification will be required to borrow CANON equipment. This is an ideal opportunity to test drive the latest Canon gear. Special offers on the day are not to be missed!
