A deeply restorative late-summer evening combining gentle Zen yoga, breathwork, Traditional Chinese Medicine and live musical healing.

Join us at Springbank Manor Hotel in Darwen for a nourishing evening of Zen Yoga and Sound Healing.

This is more than a yoga class. We work with the body, breath, mind and energy together, using gentle movement and awareness to help you feel grounded, centred and more at home in yourself.

These late-summer sessions are rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Earth element, associated with the Spleen and Stomach meridians.

Late summer is a season of transition, nourishment and transformation. It is a time to gather our energy, strengthen our centre and create more balance as we move towards autumn.

Through accessible Zen yoga, breathwork and mindful movement, we will explore practices designed to:

encourage the flow of Qi through the meridians

ground through the feet and strengthen the legs

open the front of the body and the hip crease

gather awareness into the tanden, the energetic centre of the body

settle the nervous system

soften tension, worry and mental overactivity

cultivate greater stability, contentment and balance

The yoga practice will be followed by Leah’s Musical Healing, a deeply relaxing journey through live music, voice, vibration and sound.

You will be invited to lie down, rest and receive the sound as Leah creates a calming musical landscape to support relaxation and integration.

No previous experience of yoga, meditation or sound healing is needed. The movement is gentle, inclusive and adaptable to different bodies and abilities.

Refreshments will be served afterwards, allowing time to connect, reflect and let the evening settle.

Who is this suitable for?

These evenings are suitable for complete beginners as well as people with experience of yoga, mindfulness or sound healing.

The practice can be adapted, but please contact us before booking if you have a health condition, injury, mobility concern or are pregnant, so we can discuss whether the session is appropriate for you.

Places are limited and advance booking is strongly advised.
