Transform your cherished digital photos into physical blue artworks, to celebrate the lives and lasting legacies of those you love
Join us for an uplifting, creative afternoon of storytelling, art-making, and celebration.
Cyanotype Memories is a special workshop, part of the summer programme of the inaugural Good Grief Festival Blackpool. It is designed to honour the people we have lost and the places we shared by turning our favourite digital memories into lasting physical art. This is not a sad occasion; it is a positive, vibrant space to share stories, celebrate beautiful lives, and connect through creativity.
Using the historic, photographic process of cyanotype, we will transform your personal portraits and pictures of meaningful places into striking, blue prints. The prints created during the session will be a mix of prints to take away and prints to be displayed, as part of the official Good Grief Festival Blackpool exhibition this October.
