Join us as we explore St Annes - on - Sea

Our September Photo Walk takes us back to St Annes, where we’ll spend a couple of hours exploring the town and coastline with our cameras.

Darkroom regular Tim Christian will be leading the way, taking us on a relaxed wander and sharing some of his local knowledge along the route.

Our photo walks are about getting out, making photographs and seeing familiar places in a different way. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, everyone is welcome. Bring your film camera, digital camera or phone, whatever you like to make pictures with. There are some analogue cameras you can borrow if you need. Just choose the ticket option.

There’ll be plenty of opportunities to stop, look, chat and photograph along the way, so don’t worry about keeping up or getting the perfect shot.

As always, the walk is a chance to meet other members of the Blackpool Community Darkroom, share ideas and enjoy making photographs together.

We will meet at the entrance to the pier and find somewhere suitable to finish for a brew and a chat for those that want one.

Suitable for: Adults and young people 16+, young people 14+ with a parent or guardian 18+

North Beach Car Park is a good option for parking if you are driving. At the time of writing this it is £2.40 for up to four hours.
