Transform your favourite book into a unique special edition.

Join the FLIRT book club and Verity's Hobbies for a bookish craft night of painting book edges!

Spend the evening surrounded by wonderful fellow book lovers and transform a book of your choosing into a one-of-a-kind! You will be guided step-by-step on how to paint the edges of your book, with lots of ideas and inspiration provided. You will also get to join in with the lively discussion with the FLIRT book club.

All crafting materials will be provided. Book not included.

Recommended book: Paperback at least 300 pages long, and not pre-sprayed or coloured. Books with 800+ pages should be avoided as can be difficult to crack after paiting.

What’s included:

Clamps, protective covering, paints, pens, stencils and stamps. Book not included.

Verity is a creative based in Bournemouth who runs workshops and events across Dorset to help you discover your inner artist.

Wheelchair accessible - please let us know so we can accommodate you efficiently! There are no stairs at FLIRT and you will be seated throughout.

If you are booking for a child under 16, please let us know ahead of time. A parent or guardian MUST be present with them by law.

The closest car park is the Avenue Road Multi Story (0.1 miles) with disabled parking available.

Paints can be messy! Aprons will be provided but please wear comfy, casual clothes.
