Because furosemide isn't a cough suppressant: differentiating cardiac from respiratory causes of cough.

Join us for an engaging and practical CPD event exploring one of the most common—and sometimes challenging—presenting complaints in canine practice: the coughing dog.

This collaborative session brings together expertise from Internal Medicine and Cardiology to provide a comprehensive, case-based approach to diagnosing and managing canine chronic coughs. Learn how to differentiate respiratory from cardiac disease, interpret key clinical findings, and make confident decisions about diagnostic testing and treatment.

Whether you're managing first-opinion cases or looking to refresh your diagnostic approach, this CPD event will equip you with practical tips, evidence-based insights, and real-world strategies you can apply in practice immediately.

Join us to:

• Differentiate respiratory causes of coughing from cardiac disease.

• Improve your diagnostic approach with practical case discussions.

• Interpret clinical signs and diagnostic tests with greater confidence.

• Enhance patient outcomes through collaborative, multidisciplinary thinking.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights from SCVS Internal Medicine and Cardiology teams and sharpen your approach to the coughing canine patient.
